Megan Dolan

Megan is a self-proclaimed member of the sandwich generation--a caregiver to both elderly parents and young children simultaneously. To quote Joan Didion, "I write entirely to find out what I'm thinking...." Megan wrote throughout her mother's rapid decline from dementia and her passing earlier this year. She wrote when her son was diagnosed with autism in 2015 and created the show "Lemur Mom" about her experiences as a special needs parent. She writes to figure out her place in the world. She is a wife, daughter, mother of two, and dog owner to Cosmo pictured here chasing a squirrel on the back fence, Her hope is that by putting pen to paper and revealing the awkward, anxious, and sometimes amusing reflections of her mind, she might provide temporary, existential relief for herself and others.
